Working with Good As Gold
… is easy!
Contact me with your challenge, idea or brief. We’ll have an initial phone chat to help me understand your organisation, your audience, their needs and your timescales. If you like the sound of me and my work, I’ll put together a proposal and quotation for your approval. The latter will be a fixed fee: there are no funny surprises here.
Depending on the size and complexity of the assignment, I may request further briefing. At this point we’ll also agree on our timeline: for you to supply me with any further information and for me to send you your sparkling copy.
If you’re a new client, I will need 30 per cent of the fee before I get started, so I know you’re serious about the project. Thank you for your understanding.
And then I’ll get to work, crafting your copy in flawless English that resonates with your target audience. I will deliver it to you by email, on time and on brand. If you need a few tweaks and adjustments, that’s great - I’ll get to those immediately. I include two rounds of amendments in my quotation to ensure you are not just pleased but delighted.
Are you in a flap?
I’m not keen on breakneck turnarounds. Last-minute working isn’t the way to get the best results for any project. But I know you know this and, if you are in a panic or a pickle, I will do my best to help you out of it. Please ask. I apply a 40 per cent rush rate to encourage proper planning (and to fund the pizzas that will fuel me through the night).
Your best pen-friend
When I know you and your organisation well, and you know and trust me, we can discuss setting up a retainer or call-off arrangement. It means I can be there, at the end of an email, whenever you need proofreading, a second opinion, or a quick copywriting power-up. It’s an affordable way to have a professional writer on your team, and this can be transformative to any organisation.
